Professional Training in Management English

Why Take This Course

English is the official language of South Sudan. However, a significant portion of the population, including university graduates, struggle with English. This is a legacy of the education system which, under Sudan, focused on Arabic as the national and official language, and considered English as a second language, but never gave it the attention it deserved in the school curricula, bookshops, business, and media.

In addition, different sectors of the economy including, government, business, and non-governmental organisations tend to have specialised vocabulary of their own. This poses extra challenges for individuals who are already struggling with English language proficiency.

Furthermore, managers at all levels of an organisation play functions that are critical to organisational success such as communicating a vision and the need for change, inspiring employees, leading teams, and negotiating deals with partners. All these functions require mastery of the range of knowledge that comes under the umbrella of management.

The course on Management English in Use will also benefit professionals from other fields who are planning to enroll in MBA or are at the beginning of undergraduate business studies.
